What research says about low back pain
Low back pain is one of the most common reasons people see any doctor. The American College of Physicians' clinical guideline recommends that, for most acute and chronic low back pain, patients and clinicians start with non-drug treatments, a list that includes spinal manipulation, exercise, heat and massage. Chiropractic care is one of several reasonable options, and how much it helps varies from person to person.
